Voting for the most innovative projects in the Regiostars Awards 2023 is open

Thursday, 14 September witnessed the launch of public voting in the European Commission’s competition for the most innovative European project. You will be able to cast your vote on the competition’s online platform until 14 November this year.

It is possible to vote for 3 projects that have reached the finals. Among the finalists are Interreg projects with Polish beneficiaries: 

Invisible Heritage: exchange and implementation of best practice in access for the visually impaired to cultural resources and their participation in cultural life – a project co-funded by the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland – (Belarus) – Ukraine was a finalist in the Social and Inclusive Europe category.

Greening the creative industries: improving policy practices for the European Audiovisual industry (acronym Green Screen) – project funded by the Interreg Europe programme, was a finalist in the Green Europe category.

Innovative management solutions for minimising emissions of hazardous substances from urban areas (acronym NonHazCity) – project funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme, finalist in the Green Europe category.

The project with the most votes will receive the Audience Award at the Regiostars ceremony. This event will take place on November 16 in Ostrava.

REGIOSTARS is an annual competition organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy since 2008. Throughout the years, it has become a European label of excellence for EU-funded projects that demonstrate the impact and inclusive nature of regional development. The year 2023 marks the renewal and relaunch of the competition.
